Excuses Excuses

There has been a lot happening in Poitiers as my lovely trip is winding down to an end.  First off I’m in a project class called Createam.  Let me tell you, it’s a fanny and a half project.  Trying to turn American standard financial reports into the French standard is no easy task.  So the majority of my time has been towards that. 

In other news, Gram bought me a camera for my birthday so I had to go back to a few places to snap the impossible photos I wasn’t able to get with the other camera.  Here are some of the pictures:

 
 
 

I also decided that since the flowers are out I should blog about those.  Here are two of the pretest I’ve got so far.  There might be a blog about French flowers in our future!

There are so many French things that are funny to us Americans.  The fruity club restaurant was one of them but recently I saw this and so it’s my new favorite French thing.

Last Saturday I got side swiped by a car while riding my bike.  Here is the picture of my knee right after the accident.  I lost a good pair of pants too.  They might turn into shorts here soon when I get some time.

This is what my left and right leg look like now.  (Took the pictures a few moments ago)  A few people are freaking out about the right one.  Don’t worry.  I’ve been to the doctor and I’m taking care of it.  I hate doc/med bills! 

So this is what I’ve been doing lately.  I haven’t been able to go out of town or see a lot of things but I will soon.  I only have about a month left and I plan to make the most of it!

Ps.  Yes that is a package of swiss miss under my leg.  Thank you Aunt Wanda!
